OpenFlowChart is a free flow-chart editor at openflowchart.net.
This page explains what data we collect, why, and how to remove it.
Signing in is optional. If you do sign in with Google, Google sends us:
sub claim) — used as your internal user id.We store this in a JSON file on the server, along with the timestamps of your first and most recent sign-in. We never ask Google for anything beyond your basic profile and email.
Charts you save are written to disk on our server, associated with your user id. Anyone signed into your Google account can read, edit, or delete them. Per-user storage limits apply.
The site uses self-hosted Umami analytics to count page views and basic interactions (button clicks, etc.). Umami does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. We see aggregate counts, approximate country, browser and OS — not personal data.
Standard web-server access logs are also kept for security and debugging. They contain your IP address and request paths.
Email openflowchart@gmail.com and we'll delete your account, all your saved charts, and the user record.
You can also revoke OpenFlowChart's access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Servers are in Germany (Hetzner). The Umami analytics database is also hosted there.
